John Davidson and Associates (JDA) has formed an alliance partnership with CopperCo to provide whole project staffing for a new mining operation in the Mt Isa region.

The alliance will see JDA operate as CopperCo’s recruitment services provider throughout the exploration, feasibility study and production phases of the CopperCo Lady Annie project. CopperCo has consolidated approximately 2,500km2 of Mining Leases and Exploration Permits in the Mount Isa Block and plans to develop several resources. This includes the Lady Annie and Mount Kelly resources where substantial drilling programs are already under way.

JDA Executive General Manager Scott Roberts said “We are very pleased to be working with CopperCo. Our goal is to assist the company to become a significant mid-tier miner and we have tailored our systems and services to meet CopperCo’s specific needs. JDA is currently recruiting mining professionals, technicians, trades people and administration staff for the Lady Annie project. We expect to place 54 people over the next 12 months and encourage all interested candidates to make contact now. ”

Recruitment of operational, technical and trades positions will initially be managed from JDA’s Townsville office by Senior Consultant Peter McClintock. Senior Staff appointments will be handled through JDA’s head office in Brisbane, Australia.
