John Davidson and Associates (JDA) has formed an exclusive alliance with the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand (EIANZ) to expedite the connection between environmental professionals in Australia and New Zealand and employers seeking their expertise. The EIANZ/JDA Alliance was officially launched in Melbourne on the 27th of October at the EIANZ’s Annual Meetings of Councillors and Members. Jeff Baker, JDA’s Environmental Appointments Manager, addressed the meetings to provide an overview of the alliance’s planned initiatives and expected benefits. According to Mr Baker the launch drew overwhelming support from councillors. “The general feeling was that this Alliance is incredibly timely. Employers across all industry sectors are starting to recognise that they will need to access to well-trained environmental professionals if they are to meet future environmental challenges. The EIANZ/ JDA Alliance will help them do this,” said Mr Baker. The Alliance will see JDA provide EIANZ members, affiliates and employers with a range of services, specifically focussed on environmental careers. The websites of EIANZ and JDA have been integrated so that both job-hunters and employers can access JDA services through the EIANZ web site. The EIANZ has now urged all members and affiliates to send their CV to JDA so they can be registered on the candidate database. Strict confidentiality will be observed in line with the JDA's Privacy Policy. |
