JDA believes that no business priority comes before safety. It therefore recognises that occupational health and safety is an integral part of its own and its clients’ business, and actively encourages open communication and transparency at all levels.
JDA strives to continually improve its processes through effective communication to manage positive change. Sound business practice requires continual review of activities and identification of issues needing improvement.
JDA is committed to: - The health and safety of its employees;
- Supporting the health and safety of its clients’ employees; and
- Involvement in the establishment and positive change of occupational health and safety standards in consultation with clients to ensure the maintenance and ongoing improvement of safety standards for any site.
JDA has a prime focus towards the management of occupational health and safety and encourages an environment where everyone participates.
To add to the ongoing improvement in safety performance, JDA encourages its employees to be active in identifying and recommending changes in the workplace to reduce the risks and hazards.
JDA recognises it has a responsibility to provide its clients with competent people who demonstrate a sound knowledge of and adherence to occupational health and safety practices. All JDA employees are expected to be accountable for their actions and are actively encouraged to identify and report on unsafe conditions and acts.
JDA will manage the rehabilitation processes to facilitate the return to meaningful employment for all ill or injured employees affected either temporarily or permanently in the course of their work.
