John Davidson - Managing Director - JDA Brisbane

John's mining sector career spans three decades, with much of it dominated by his service to CRA on the Bouganville Copper Project.

Starting as construction manager (Bechtel Pacific) John's experience encompasses roles within the supply, retail management, maintenance planning, training management and personnel administration and recruitment.

In 1990, John established John Davidson and Associates Pty Ltd (JDA) to provide prfessional recruitment services for mining and construction projects around the globe.

Today, John continues to personally drive the future directions of JDA and consults across all employment disciplines with an emphasis on offering advisory services for senior mining professionals.

Stephen Grey – General Manager

Stephen has senior management experience throughout a wide range of industries both in Australia & PNG. He is committed to ensuring a high level of delivery of the JDA Wokman service.

Having grown up and worked in Papua New Guinea he has a realistic understanding of the social issues associated with respect to the working and living environment. He brings a fair, acute and hands on management style with the ability to develop and implement management procedures to ensure ongoing stability in all aspects of the business

Stephen has a clear appreciation of the aspects of corporate governance and recognises the importance of developing strong relationships at both a corporate and government level.

Peter is responsible for JDA Wokman's business and development activities. He has 20 years of experience working as an expatriate in PNG, Indonesia, England and the US, and has formed a solid base from which he can understand the international and local requirements for both Clients and Candidates. Having worked on a number of Mine sites around PNG, Peter has an established network in the industry and is able to keep up to date with developments around PNG.

Julie Willoughby - Business Services Manager

Julie is responsible for managing the implementation of Business Development strategies including planning, organising and coordinating of the JDA Wokman client services administration. A well-built background in administration/management, Julie is a keen and enthusiastic corporate manager with strong organisational & communication skills. Her goal is to ensure quality relationships are formed & excellent service delivery is maintained with clients. With a 'can do attitude', she is motivated, passionate & effective in assisting with client requests & unexpected issues that arise.

Stephen Mead - Business Development Officer

Stephen graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business (majoring in Human Resouce Management) in 2000 from the Southern Cross University, in Lismore Australia. He has worked in Papua New Guinea & the United Kingdom in both Sales & HR in the Recruitment, Property, Pharmaceutical & Tourism industries. He has a good appreciation of customer service and enjoys working in diverse cultures.

Matthew Kamaka - Company Accountant

Matthew is a conscientious, thoroughly professional Accountant. Having graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Accounting), Matthew joined and has progressed from a Graduate Accountant to the Company Accountant. His responsibilities cover general ledger, payables, receivables and payroll (both internal and for our significant contractor payrolls). He supervises our accounts team, prepares monthly financial management reports, co-ordinates preparation of annual budgets and manages key relationships with our bankers and insurance partners. Matthew is well respected by his peers and is a person held in high regards by the Executive Management of both JDA Wokman Limited and JDA Australia.

Henry Midave - Payroll Bureau Consultant

Having joined JDA Wokman Limited in 2005, Henry is responsible for all contractor payroll duties within JDA Wokman Limited. This includes all JDA Wokman contractors who are currently contractred to companies such as Oil Search, Simmons Drilling, Red Sea Housing, major mining companies within PNG and various LNG contractors. Henry facilitates JDA Wokman Limited's Payroll Bureau services to our external clients for both national and expatriate personnel. With 10 years experience in Finance and sound knowledge in computing and various payroll softwares, Henry is able to meet client needs in an efficient and timely manner.

David Nicholson - Site Manager (Tabubil)

David started his career as an Electronics Technician with the Australian Army, specialising in electronic warfare. He later joined Boeing Australia in 1998, Satellite Readout station, maintaining 3 Satellite terminals. Arriving in PNG in 2000, David started with Securimax as a Radio Workshop Manager, he then moved on to join Security Systems (Guard Dog) looking after all their electronic security. In 2004 he joined PNG Recycling running the Lae Branch, followed by the Port Moresby branch then managing the entire PNG operation.

Dave joined JDA Wokman in 2008 as the Site Manager for the Tabubil branch and has been actively involved in the recruitment and contracting of PNG Nationals & Expatriates for the mining industry. With a wealth of experience, he is readily available to assist all his clients with business matters and services.

Josephine Otoaina - Site Manager (Lihir)

Josephine is the longest serving employee in JDA Wokman team, having joined the company since it's inception in 1991. She has been actively involved in the recruitment and contracting of PNG Nationals for the mining industry. Prior to working for JDA Wokman Limited, Josie worked for Bougainvilled Copper Limited as a Senior Secretary, Concentrator Division until 1989 when she left due to the civil unrest on Bougainville Island. With 15 years experience in the recruitment industry, coupled with her ability to work with people of diverse cultural backgrounds, Josie is well suited to appreciate all her clients business concerns and the need for timely service.
